Bunny Hotcake Pancake

Ingredients (1 serving):

5.3 oz./150 g of hotcake Japanese pancake mix

1 large egg

2.7 fl.oz./80 ml of milk

1 tbsp of Japanese mayonnaise

<Sauce>

2 tbsp of maple syrup

1 tbsp of mayonnaise

<Garnish>

Banana as desired

Chocolate sauce as desired

Fruits of your choice as desired

Directions:

1. Put eggs, milk and mayonnaise in a bowl and mix well with a whisk. Next, add the hotcake mix and mix lightly.

2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, let cool slightly on a damp cloth, then lower the heat to low and pour the batter into the pan, making 2 round pancakes (body and face), 2 oval pancakes (legs), and 2 long, thin pancakes (ears). Cook each for 2 to 3 minutes, and when small bubbles appear, flip immediately and cook on low heat for another 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Put the maple syrup and mayonnaise in a bowl and mix well.

4. Pour the sauce from step 3 onto a plate and arrange the pancakes from step 2 on the plate like the back of a rabbit. Decorate with cut bananas as tails and paws, draw paw claws with chocolate sauce, and decorate around with fruits of your choice.

Tip:

  • By mixing mayonnaise into the pancake batter, the surface becomes crispy and the inside fluffy.

You can also make another shape of bunny hotcake. You can make it even cuter with some strawberry jam and heart-shaped butter.

Hard-Boild Egg Bunny & Chick

Ingredients (2servings):

3 boiled eggs

A little cucumber

A little carrot

15 black sesame seeds

2 tbsp of Japanese mayonnaise

Directions:

1. Cut boiled eggs in half and remove yolks.

2. In a bowl, mix the yolks removed in step 1 with mayonnaise and mix well.

3. Add the bunny ears made from carrots and black sesame seeds as eyes and a nose to the whites cut in half in step 1 and make 3 eggs into bunnies.

4. Add the chick hair made from cucumber, beak made from carrot, and eyes made from sesame seeds to the remaining egg white from step 3 to make 3 chicks.

Tips

  • After the boiled eggs are cooled in cold water, crack the shells finely to make them easier to peel.

  • Be careful when boiling new eggs, as the white tends to stick to the shell and is difficult to peel.
