This is a rice bowl recipe that you can make in a very short time when you're short on time but want something homemade to eat. It's easy to make because all you need is shirasu fish, egg yolks, bonito flakes, and whatever else you have at home!
Shirasu Baby Sardine Don Bowl

Ingredients:
2 bowls of rice
2.1 oz./60g shirasu baby sardine fish
2 egg yolks
ohba leaves - thinly sliced, as garnish
Nori seaweed to your liking, as garnish
Bonito flakes to your liking, as garnish
Tenkasu (crunchy crumbs made from tempura batter) to your liking, as garnish
Microgreen to your liking, as garnish
Soy sauce to your liking
Tips:
We used the garnishes listed above, but you can use your favorite garnishes instead, such as chopped onions or scallions, white sesame seeds, etc.
Instructions:
Prepare the garnishes.
Slice the ohba leaves and microgreen.
Separate the egg yolk from the egg white.
Place some rice in a bowl. Spread bonito flakes and nori seaweed on top.
Arrange the shirasu fish in a donut shape on top, and gently place an egg yolk in the center. Sprinkle with some garnishes as desired. Enjoy!
